UV-silica windows
Description
These windows, made from UV-grade synthetic fused silica, can be used down to around 170nm wavelength and have very low fluorescence and excellent chemical and radiation resistance. UV-silica has a very low expansion coefficient (<0.5x10-6/K) giving windows fabricated from this material excellent thermal shock resistance. It is also an excellent high temperature material, being usable to 1050 degrees C.
